Alice Baker is a frustrated creative soul by night and a super busy operations manager by day.  Her greekiness started many years ago when her father put her to bed at night with the fantastically words of J.R.R. Tolkien. As she grew up, her love of the worlds of science fiction and fantasy also grew expanding to include comic books, D&D, video games and other realms where the stories are epic and the worlds amazing. Today she escapes to those worlds as often as she can and attempts to take muggles with her as often as she can.

Megan Calcote

Megan Calcote is an event planner at Arizona State University and an independent film producer in Phoenix. Originally from Tucson, she grew up in various locations all over the globe because her father was in the US Airforce. Megan was raised on video games (hers was a Sega household), science fiction tv and film and comic books. She likes to spend her spare time with her husband, their collection of animals (2 dogs, 2 cats) and her friends in the local independent film community.

Bri Valdivia

Bri Valdivia is a lifelong geek with interests spanning science fiction and fantasy novels, comics, and video games. At the tender age of three Bri’s dad introduced her to Star Wars and SDCC. This experience was formativ. Bri attended every SDCC for a solid decade and watched THE trilogy every year (let’s be honest, three times a year). Bri is a graduate of the Cronkite School’s broadcast program. She ran the student radio station while attending Cronkite and has a passion for audio editing/talk radio. Bri hopes to have her own small podcast production company one da… AND a Star Trek podcast.

Andrea Coffman

On the surface, Andrea appears to be your average credit union employee, but her true identity is super geek. Seeing as she loved to learn, she is a graduate of both ASU and University of Cincinnati. At the tender age of 10, her life was forever changed by the gift of a second hand Super Nintendo. Thus began the journey through the wonderful land of ‘geek’. Forever a browncoat at heart, her husband is fully aware that she would leave him for Nathan Fillion.

Cassandra Nicholson is a connoisseur of all things television, from development and production to marketing and branding. A graduate of the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication and a longtime writer, she has a love for true-to-life storytelling that expands beyond nonfiction, having worked on documentaries, web series, short and feature films since 2007. A self-proclaimed TV geek, she’s dabbled in (read: fangirled over) notable sci-fi series, but has some lessons to learn when it comes to other genre media. Cassandra has written several screenplays, both for the big and small screen, and plans to fully launch a media startup in 2013.
